Arrow Hones in on FLASH

According to a report over at Latino Review, on Monday Warner Brothers brought in actors John McKay (Singularity), Matt Barr (Hatfields & McCoys) and Grant Gustin (Glee) to screen test for the role of Barry (The Flash) Allen for Season 2 of Arrow. As of press, there has been no decision from Warner Brothers on casting.
Marvel Announces New Invaders, Avengers and Inhuman for All-New Marvel NOW!
Yesterday we reported on Capeless that Marvel had released solicits and cover images for the first series in Phase II of Marvel NOW! New Invaders, Avengers, and Inhuman will all hit shelves this fall.

DC Takes Heat for Suicidal Harley Quinn Contest
Alyssa Rosenberg from ThinkProgress writes on the ongoing controversy surrounding DC’s decision to promote an art contest containing instructions to depict the mentally ill former Joker sidekick preparing to commit suicide by a variety of horrible means.
Geoff Johns Departs Aquaman
Late yesterday, DC Comics announced that writer Geoff Johns would be ending his hit run on Aquaman. Johns spoke with IGN’s Joey Esposito about his time on the book, but offered no hints as to what will be next on his agenda. Johns is widely credited for the book’s critical and commercial success. According to a report at Bleeding Cool, he will be replaced on the title by Jeff Parker (Bucko).
