Marvel recently revealed that everything would come to light concerning the #1 and “Count on Marvel” teasers this month at Marvel’s House of Ideas panel at the SXSW Gaming Expo on Sunday, March 10th at 1pm (CST). Capeless’s own Colin Hollister speculated previously what these teasers could mean here, but Marvel recently released a new #1 trailer featuring all of the current Marvel NOW! creative teams along with some who have moved on to the television and film division of Marvel.
If Colin’s speculation about a weekly fifty-two issue series released over the course of one year is right, then does this mean that these creative teams would be the ones working on the series? Or perhaps, since the panel is going to be at the SXSW Gaming Expo, this is somehow related to one of the numerous Marvel video games on the horizon, such as Lego Marvel Super Heroes or the Marvel MMORPG, Marvel Heroes. But how would the creative teams tie into that?
Things are still very vague as to what this panel will actually be about, but with the panel less than a week away, I’m sure it’s gotta be something big if they’re playing it this close to the chest. Especially since Marvel rarely keeps things this tightly under wraps.
